Brock opens its doors to the public - 2006 Open House

More than 2,500 visitors are expected to be on campus Sunday, March 5, when Brock University opens its doors to the public from 12 noon to 4 p.m. for its annual Open House. This event is a great opportunity for prospective students and their families, as well as members of the community, to experience all that Brock has to offer.

The Open House will feature a wide variety of interesting tours, informative seminars and exciting events. Visitors will be able to participate in "University 101" sessions where they can find out more of what to expect from university life. Guests will have the chance to win free tuition for a half-credit course and they will also have the opportunity to speak with professors and students from every academic program and service offered by the University.

Information will be provided about Brock's Co-op and internship programs and EXPERIENCE Plus - a unique program that provides students with the opportunity to gain valuable work experience while obtaining their degree. There will also be a variety of informative presentations held throughout the day where prospective students can find out more about programs such as Business, Concurrent Education, Humanities, Sport Management and Nursing.

Those interested in attending can visit www.brocku.ca/prospective and click on the "Register for Open House" button to register for the event. Registration packages will be available at the Welcome Centre in the Walker Complex. Free parking will be available.
