Brock
opens its doors to the public - 2006 Open House
More than 2,500
visitors are expected to be on campus Sunday, March 5, when Brock
University opens its doors to the public from 12 noon to 4 p.m.
for its annual Open House. This event is a great opportunity for
prospective students and their families, as well as members of the
community, to experience all that Brock has to offer.
The Open House
will feature a wide variety of interesting tours, informative seminars
and exciting events. Visitors will be able to participate in "University
101" sessions where they can find out more of what to expect
from university life. Guests will have the chance to win free tuition
for a half-credit course and they will also have the opportunity
to speak with professors and students from every academic program
and service offered by the University.
Information
will be provided about Brock's Co-op and internship programs and
EXPERIENCE Plus - a unique program that provides students with the
opportunity to gain valuable work experience while obtaining their
degree. There will also be a variety of informative presentations
held throughout the day where prospective students can find out
more about programs such as Business, Concurrent Education, Humanities,
Sport Management and Nursing.

Registration packages will be available at the Welcome Centre in
the Walker Complex. Free parking will be available.
