The Dean is responsible for initiating, shaping, implementing, supervising, and evaluating all programs in the School of Education, as well as managing the day-to-day operations of the School. She/he will possess the commitment, personal characteristics, insights, and abilities not only of a strong faculty member but also those of an effective administrative and organizational leader.

The Dean oversees the work of the Director of Professional Education Programs and other faculty and staff in the School of Education and reports to the Academic Vice President.
