Canada’s
Capital University, Carleton University, is a dynamic
research and teaching institution committed to the highest
standards of scholarship. Central to this commitment
is the achievement of world-class standing for the Eric
Sprott School of Business.
The
University seeks an inaugural Dean to lead the School
to this objective. Named for a leading alumnus and major
donor, the Eric Sprott School of Business has a substantial
endowment and the capacity for significant additional
fundraising.
The
Dean will have a unique opportunity to build the new
Faculty. As a member of Carleton’s leadership
team, and with the full support of the President and
the Vice-Presidents, the Dean will demonstrate an entrepreneurial
spirit in generating the resources and growing the Eric
Sprott School of Business strategically over an initial
term of five years.
The
Eric Sprott School of Business is committed to the application
of integrated knowledge to deal effectively with the
complex issues faced by managers in the global economy.
Working with businesses and public institutions in the
nation’s capital and globally, the School provides
state-of-the-art resources for innovative programs and
a prolific, leading-edge research community. The School
offers comprehensive undergraduate and MBA programs,
an executive training arm, and one of Canada’s
largest doctoral programs.
