The Department of Biology at the University of Victoria invites applications for a tenure track Assistant Professor position in Neurobiology to begin January 1, 2007. We are particularly interested in applicants who follow a strong multidisciplinary research theme.
The candidate must have a Ph.D., appropriate postdoctoral training and a proven research record in the field of Neurobiology. The successful applicant will be expected to develop an independent, innovative and externally funded research program and participate in teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. The Department of Biology encompasses a broad range of teaching and research interests. We are searching for an individual that complements the broad range of the Department's interests.
